Job Opening: Houdini Environment Artist
Location: Paris, France
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Sets & Props Modeling and surfacing supervisors to create procedural sets adapted to current productions.
- Create Assets, and handle complex modeling (building, city, landscape).
- Work in the pipeline between Houdini and Maya.
- Accurately interpret concept art and design from the Art Department, keeping the appeal and the essence of the concept.
- Model sets while responding to requests from the following departments: rigging, layout, surfacing, animation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Houdini
- Maya Knowledge
- Technical and artistic profile
- Substance, Zbrush, Speedtree knowledge
- Fluency in French and good level in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Available or willing to relocate to Paris (remote work unavailable)
