Job Opening: HR Manager

Responsibilities:
- HR Operations & Compliance
- Provide HR support to the Mumbai studio, ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws.
- Ensure cross-site coordination for HR functions, aligning policies and best practices across locations.
- Act as a bridge between the Mumbai studio and HR teams in other regions, facilitating information flow and consistency in HR practices.
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Stay updated on labor law changes, statutory compliance, and HR regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team and payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
- Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and recommend improvements.
- Enhance the employee experience by fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Develop and implement career growth programs.
- Act as a trusted HR partner, ensuring employees feel heard, valued, and supported in their professional growth.
- Ensure adherence to workplace health & safety standards through regular audits and documentation.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding.
- Coordinate preboarding activities such as machine requisition, workspace allocation, and IT setup.
- Deliver seamless onboarding experiences, including orientation, benefits enrolment, and culture integration.
- Performance & Training
- Conduct training needs assessments and develop training programs aligned with business goals.
- Support performance management discussions, feedback sessions, and employee development plans.
- Offboarding & HR Reporting
- Oversee exit processes, including exit interviews, knowledge transfer, and final settlements.
- Generate HR reports on employee turnover, engagement, and salary benchmarking.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in the IT or VFX industry.
- Education: MBA in HR or a related postgraduate degree from a recognized institution.
- Communication: Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- HR Expertise: Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Tech Skills: Experience with HRIS, payroll software, and ATS is essential.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
- Work Style: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
