Job Opening: Lead Character Modeler

Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expert-level skills in character building to create highly detailed and realistic 3D character models.
- Demonstrate proficiency in facial blend shape sculpting and FACS workflow to create accurate and expressive facial animations.
- Apply your specialized knowledge in cloth modeling, fabric materials, and costume design to enhance the realism and visual appeal of character garments.
- Leverage your strong traditional art background, with a focus on human facial and body anatomy, to ensure anatomical accuracy and lifelike representations.
- Collaborate closely with art directors, concept artists, and other team members to understand and fulfill the creative vision and direction for character models.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, understanding and executing the true directional intention of the projects.
- Apply your professional experience in both film VFX and video game industries to deliver character models that meet the specific requirements of each medium.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Extensive experience and expertise in character building, with a strong portfolio showcasing your exceptional skills.
- Proven mastery of facial blend shape sculpting and FACS workflow to create realistic and expressive facial animations.
- Specialization in cloth modeling, fabric materials, and costume design is highly desirable.
- Strong traditional art background, particularly in human facial and body anatomy, with the ability to translate this knowledge into 3D models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to follow directions and meet project goals and deadlines.
- Professional experience in both film VFX and video game industries, with a solid understanding of their respective requirements and workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.
