Job Opening: 2D Environment Tech Artist
Location: Los Angeles, US
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Clean up tilemaps.
- Ensure all environment assets are set up for flexibility and reuse.
- Create and/or implement animated elements in Godot.
- Create environmental/ambient VFX.
- Work with engineering to implement shader FX on specified items.
- Polish parallax and depth elements.
- Optimize art assets and ensure acceptable performance at runtime.
Qualifications & Skills:
- You have experience implementing art in Unity, Godot, or Unreal engines.
- You possess excellent art skills, particularly as relates to 2D environments and tilemaps.
- You have experience creating and implementing environmental VFX.
- You build your work with attention to detail and visual consistency. Your output is highly organized and labeled.
