Job Opening: Head of Design
Location: Sylhet, Bangladesh
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Lead Design Strategy: Define and drive the design vision and strategy across all products and platforms.
- Oversee End-to-End Design: Manage the entire design process from user research and wireframing to prototyping and high-fidelity UI.
- Build and Manage a Design Team: Mentor, inspire, and grow a high-performing team of product, UI/UX, and brand designers.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure cohesive design across web, mobile, and brand experiences.
- Create Scalable Design Systems: Establish and maintain a unified design language across all products.
- User-Centered Design: Champion data-driven design decisions backed by UX research, user behavior analytics, and A/B testing.
- Client-Facing Presentations: Communicate design decisions and strategies to stakeholders, clients, and internal teams.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct design reviews and ensure pixel-perfect delivery in collaboration with front-end developers.
- Market & Trend Analysis: Stay on top of design trends, emerging tools, and SaaS-specific UI/UX best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience (2+ years) leading a design team within a tech-driven or SaaS company.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX work across web and mobile platforms, including responsive and interactive design.
- Mastery in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or other design and prototyping tools.
- Deep understanding of typography, layout, color theory, interaction design, and design systems.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with no-code platforms, LMS interfaces, AI/ML design concepts, or EdTech platforms.
