Job Opening: Layout Artist – Animated Series
Location: Helsinki, Finland
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Working on episodic B&W layouts, based on the locked animatic, location designs and any other guidelines.
- Addressing both internal and external notes on the layouts.
- Making sure the deadlines are met and files are also technically correct for the following departments to work on.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in working on layouts for an animated series.
- Good understanding of composition, continuity, staging, and perspective.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to a specific line style and quality (see Merry Little Batman for reference).
- Knowledge and experience in color backgrounds is considered a plus.
- An understanding of the 2D production pipeline, knowledge of file formats and
asset management. - Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team, and ability to take direction.
- Ability to work under schedules and deadlines.
