Job Opening: Gameplay Programmer
Location: Brighton, England, United Kingdom
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, implements, documents and tests systems and game code
- Works with designers, artists and other team members in pursuit of quality
- Helps to develop and implement technical design specifications
- Tests and refines gameplay/UI features throughout the development cycle of the project
- Participates in team-based code reviews to help raise code quality
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in C++
- A few years experience working in the video games industry
- Used Unreal Engine professionally
- Worked in an Agile development environment
- Knowledge of industry-standard development tools: source control, asset pipelines, issue tracking
- Used continuous integration and build automation at work
- Experience with low level optimization, shader programming, physics, or mathematics
