Job Opening: Gameplay Programmer

Location: Montreal, QC, Canada

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain features and ship quality C++ code;
  • Maintain and expand the gameplay systems.
  • Design and implement complex gameplay systems;
  • Analyze performance bottlenecks and provide mitigations;
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior team members.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the interconnections between game systems;

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of gaming industry experience or 8+ years of software industry experience;
  • 3+ years of C++ experience;
  • Unreal Engine experience.
  • Great written and spoken communication skills;
  • Great understanding of 3D math and debugging;
  • Great understanding of performance;
  • Passion for problem-solving;
  • Bonus: One or more shipped console game(s);
