Job Opening: Gameplay Animator
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with game designers and programmers to create impactful animations for an FPP experience
- Animate first-person rigs with weapon handling and combat
- Develop and animate enemies, using both motion capture and hand-key animation
- Design and implement animation logic (state machines, blend trees, etc)
- Meet challenges with creative solutions
- Estimate workload and plan animation work
- Work to improve character animation quality in all areas
Qualifications & Skills:
- More than 3 years of experience animating in the game industry, with a heavy focus on gameplay animations
- Experience of First Person animations
- Experience working with motion capture
- Strong skills in hand-key animation
- Expert proficiency in Autodesk MotionBuilder, Maya, or similar Animation software
- Great understanding of animation rigs
- Experience in designing and maintaining animation state machines
- A problem-solving mentality
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
Bonus qualifications
- More than 3 years of experience in the gaming industry
- Experience in leading a team
- Experience in Unreal Engine 5
