Job Opening: Game Designer
Type: Contractor
Responsibilities:
- Designing environmental puzzles inspired by botany, in line with the narrative of the game.
- Implementing your designs in Unity with the support of a programmer.
- Whiteboxing environments if needed.
- Improving the feel and UX of gameplay interactions.
- Consulting and reviewing the level design of the manor.
- Working in a cross-disciplinary team, where communication and respect is key.
- Iterating on your work after collating feedback from user testing.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Someone who has an eye for detail and quality, while still being to keep time and scope limitations into account.
- Someone who has relevant experience as a game designer, and has worked in Unity3D before.
- Someone who can work independently and likes having responsibility over a chunk of the game.
- Someone who cares about their work as much as the team they work with.
- Someone with an interest in nature and history.
- Experience with (visual) scripting.
- Experience with UI design.
- Experience with 3D modelling software or ProBuilder.
