Job Opening: Game Artist
Location: São Paulo, Brazil
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Present sketches of ideas quickly and clearly;
- Assemble mockups simulating game functions and/or flow;
- Build style guide in the pre-production of new projects;
- Collaborate with ideas in the construction of new universes for future projects;
- Document the creative process developed in the project;
- Produce assets, characters, scenarios and UI elements delivering technical quality files for implementation;
- Monitor the implementation of the graphic material created, ensuring the quality of the game;
- Adapt and follow a pre-defined direction, respecting guidelines and interacting with the rest of the team;
- Create briefing and direct outsourcing partners who are working on the project;
- Proactively monitor production in all aspects of the product, interacting with game designers, programmers, producers and all parties involved in the project.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience as an artist in games or digital products;
- Graduation in Game Design or Graphic Design;
- Solid knowledge in Creative Cloud tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe XD);
- Advanced English;
- Have good notions of typography, iconography, colors, composition, visual hierarchy;
- Creativity to bring quick solutions in prototyping;
- Focus on the quality and good presentation of your deliveries;
- Attention to details;
- Easy to adapt and follow the style chosen by the Lead and/or Art Director;
- Find it easy to work in a team or alone;
- Experience in Unity;
- Solve unusual problems and issues creatively and efficiently;
- Be organized with files;
- Communicate clearly, frankly and cordially;
- Always be willing to receive feedbacks and always absorb them in a positive way;
- Be passionate about games and art in general!
