Job Opening: FX Supervisor
Location: Berlin, Stuttgart
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of FX artists and drive them to deliver in a timely manner with high-quality results
- Forecast needs and sensibly delegate shot work to ensure shots are completed successfully by all levels of FX artists on the project
- Supervision of the technical and artistic aspects of the FX team’s output to ensure exceptional and photorealistic fx simulations are produced
- Work closely with the VFX Supervisor, VFX Producer, Head of FX and other departmental supervisors
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience within the VFX industry
- Substantial knowledge and experience in Houdini
- Proven experience in a large variety of effects, including pyro, fluids, particle, destruction, finite elements, vellum, grains and crowds
- Demonstrated leadership and experience in a supervisory role in a VFX studio
- Desire to motivate artists, provide constructive feedback and foster a collaborative spirit within your team of artists
- This position requires you to work on-site
