Job Opening: FX Animator
Location: Boyle, Ireland
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Help develop the overall look and feel of FX for the short
- Work as part of the FX Animation team
- Communicate with Animation Director & Production team
- Hit weekly expected output and flag any issues that might hinder this weekly output
Qualifications & Skills:
- Good knowledge of TV Paint & Toonboom
- Ability to visualize abstract concepts
- Experience working with storyboarding, cleanups, and layout design
- Drawing ability, an artistic mindset
- Visual storytelling
- Ability to draw in a variety of styles and genres
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
- Knowledge of current techniques and trends in animation
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver on deadline
- Good communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work to a schedule and plan workflows to meet deadlines
- Experience with some production tracking software and asset management software, preferably Shotgrid & Ftrack.
