Job Opening: Rigging TD
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with supervisors, character designers and animators about the physical attributes of and movements of characters
- Develop, test and maintain rigs for a wide range of styles. From stylized cartoon characters to realistic creatures as well as props.
- Develop modular rigging systems through MEL/Python.
- Develop publishing workflows/tools for rigs and animation.
- Provide proactive support to animators and team members
- Set up test procedures to minimize problems with the rigs further down the pipeline.
- Develop and maintain character motion and deformation systems
- Develop new techniques and processes to solve character production challenges
- Work with lead TD’s and artists in other departments to integrate rigs in our pipeline.

Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 3 years of documented experience in a production environment
- Excellent understanding of anatomy and biomechanics.
- Knowledge of traditional animation techniques and the principles of character motion
- Fluent in MEL and Python
- C++, Maya API knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in Houdini is a big plus.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
