Job Opening: Post-production Coordinator
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a working knowledge of Post Production/understanding of technical terms and processes
• Helps track and traffic elements between productions, sound house, QC, etc. - Supporting the post-production Supervisor and Producer to ensure there I sup to date communication between departments, including updated reports.
- Ensuring that workflow from one department to the next is as seamless as possible as well as responding to issues as they arise and problem-solving with the production manager and department heads.
• Facilitates the set-up and onboarding of internal post-production teams for various projects
• Manages database of project documents for the department
• Schedules calls and meetings
• Acts as liaison between department team members in order to ensure the efficient expedition of any and all post-production needs
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in post-production.
- Excellent organizational & follow-through skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize projects effectively
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
