Job Opening: 2D FX Animation Lead
Location: Freelance, Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Be available for feedback through Syncsketch and Discord, giving drawovers if needed
- Give one-on-one meetings to the FX team if needed
- Redoing certain FX guides, updating others, creating new guides for both rough and clean-up FX, and working with the compositing lead to determine the final look of the FX
- Create some FX tests for certain FX – including painted or paint stroke FX
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous lead experience in 2D FX animation, or at least 3 years experience as an FX animator on short films, advertisements, games, films, or TV.
- Experience in Toonboom Harmony and Syncsketch
- Access to Toonboom Harmony
- Previous experience in a hybrid film (2D Characters, 3D environments/creatures)
- Previous experience creating guides, tutorials, or videos for FX animation
