Job Opening: Freelance Background Artist

Responsibilities:
- Create compelling, atmospheric background art that maintains the distinct Dark Academia aesthetic of Vampire Therapist.
- Work with the Art Director to ensure the visual cohesion of the game’s environments.
- Collaborate with our narrative and design teams to conceptualize and create backgrounds that align with the narrative needs of the game.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing to the overall artistic vision and direction of the project.
- Consistently meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality work.
- Adapt and make necessary artistic adjustments based on team feedback.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Background Artist or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
- Proficiency in digital art software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
- An exceptional understanding of light, color, form, and perspective.
- Strong comprehension of the Dark Academia aesthetic.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Knowledge of game development pipelines and workflow, and understanding of Unity is a plus.
- Interest in therapy
