Job Opening: Asset Artist (Regular/Senior)
Location: Bielsko-Biała, Poland / Fully Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Creating high-quality game assets (architecture/props/foliage) that match the project and visual direction.
- Modelling and texturing high poly, mid poly, and low poly assets.
- Implementing and setting up assets in the game engine.
- Maintaining pipeline workflow within specified timelines.
- Working in close collaboration with Department Lead, Artists, and other team members.
- Supporting QA in resolving Environment Art department-related bugs.
- Optimising and cleaning scanned data.
- Familiarising with new tools needed in production.
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience as an Asset Artist.
- Modelling, sculpting, and texturing skills on a Regular/Senior level.
- Experience in Unreal Engine 5 on a Regular/Senior level.
- Experience in the full development process of a published AAA title.
- Open-world game development experience (AAA preferred).
- Portfolio showing the range and variety of your work with 3D Assets.
- Advanced modelling skills in a preferred 3D package of your choice: Blender (preferred), 3DS MAX, Maya, Zbrush.
- Strong texturing skills (Adobe Substance 3D Painter + Adobe Photoshop).
- Familiarity with the PBR workflow.
- Knowledge of the photogrammetry process.
- Knowledge of Nanite and Lumen technologies.
- A keen eye for detail, colour, and proportions.
- Ability to independently plan your own work on the created assets, searching for references.
- Ability to create neat models in line with the artistic vision and quality.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in a group.
- Ability to solve problems.
- High work ethic.
- Fluent English.
Nice to have
- Classic Arts/Architecture/Photography background.
- Knowledge of Colour Theory.
- Knowledge of other software like Speedtree, and Marvelous Designer.
- Sketching skills
