Job Opening: 3D Artist – Rust
Location: Birmingham, England, UK
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Creation of new 3D assets ranging from props to clothing to weapons.
- Creating skins of existing assets and working within their limitations.
- Liaising with other team members and working to feedback.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Expert in a 3D app (Blender, Max, Maya) and secondary apps like Zbrush, Marmoset Toolbag, Substance 3D Painter etc.
- Strong modelling and texturing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Comfort working from concept and without.
- Knowledge of a variety of types of asset creation, from props to clothing to weapons.
- The ability to work to requirements and budgets.
- Author an asset through all stages of the creation pipeline.
- To be able to work within a team and work to feedback.
- The ability to learn new systems and workflows.
- Experience working within a game engine and asset implementation.
Desirables:
- Local to UK Birmingham or the surrounding area or have strong transport links to Birmingham to work hybrid at our HQ.
- Prior experience in a 3D art role within the games industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Rust.
- Experience with the Unity game engine.
- Fan of Rust / survival games.
