Job Opening: CFX Artist
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Work within the fast-paced show structure and production deadlines
- Create cloth and hair simulation setups
- Create crowd setups and simulate shots
- Work closely with TDs, taking direction from Leads and Supervisors
- Develops generalized tools used in CFX to enhance the production pipeline
- Creatively problem solves and troubleshoots independently
- Demonstrates artistic vision and ability to streamline setups and shots
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in CFX for episodic TV, features, and or commercials
- Strong knowledge of Maya, Houdini, and Renderman is a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize, work independently and within a group, and deliver within tight deadlines
