Job Opening: Senior 3D Hard Surface And Vehicle Artist
Location: Madrid, Spain
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Create in-game ready high poly, low poly, and texture assets for futuristic vehicles, weapons and environments.
- Create art assets, from concept to final implementation in Unity.
- Work closely with the art director and other team members to maintain a consistent visual style.
- Optimize assets for performance without sacrificing visual quality.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering and art teams to create beautiful and believable assets without sacrificing performance, readability, and gameplay.
- Help establish pipelines for creating real-time 3D assets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A minimum of 4 years experience in hard surface modeling and texturing for video games.
- Proven experience working on AA/AAA games (at least one shipped product as a modeler).
- A robust portfolio showcasing your work in 3D art.
- Ability to take 2D concept art to completion (model creation, UV edit, material creation, and texture baking).
- Experience implementing assets into Unity.
- Ability to create functional, articulated mechanical models.
- Be a great team player, highly collaborative, and contribute positively to the work environment.
- Ability to mentor others in the department.
- Native proficiency in English or Spanish.
Plus:
- Experience creating optimized vehicle assets for real-time games.
- Experience with Substance Painter or similar software.
- Experience in full-cycle game development, from concept to launch.
- Fluency in Spanish is highly valued.
