Job Opening: 2D Character Animator, Thrive Intern
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Type: Intern
Responsibilities:
- Work independently and in small groups to complete challenging animation projects.
- Develop your technical skills through hands-on training, workshops, and lectures from Duolingo artists.
- Receive coaching and mentorship from a Duolingo Studio Artist.
- Partner with others who share a passion for making the best education universally available.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Second-year undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Animation, or a related technical field graduating in May 2027 (or December 2026).
- Completion of at least two college-level design courses (please upload your official or unofficial transcript).
- Experience animating in creative software such as Animate, AfterEffects, Harmony, or other comparable software
- Available for a full-time 10-week internship from June to August.
