Job Opening: Digital Game Designer
Location: Dublin, Ireland

Responsibilities:
- Use your creativity to design games for a range of devices that engage and capture the imagination of the user
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, product and marketing, to refine and develop game concepts.
- Consider, plan, and detail every element of a new game including the user flow, UI, assets, characters and sound.
- Transform rough ideas into detailed concepts, eventually implementing them into full designs with feedback from stakeholders.
- Make adjustments to the game design specifications to reflect developments as the project moves forward
- Quality assurance (QA) the games design, and final asset packs..
- Lead on the user experience (UX) design of the game, ensuring players have the best experience
- Working both autonomously and as part of a larger team.
- Leveraging your creative vision you will play a pivotal role in shaping the gaming catalogue for our clients.
- Bring our games to life by creating exciting new concepts and improving existing ones – that drive gameplay and keep users engaged.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Figma – to design game templates and asset packs, detailing the user journey within the game and covering all interactions and states to ensure an enjoyable experience.
- Familiarity with the use of Google Suite or equivalent.
- Experience specifically in game design is desirable, or applicable to similar design experience.
- Experience in designing games tailored for F2P markets, demonstrating market awareness.
- Excel in advanced visual design skills, including typographic hierarchy, colour psychology, interactions, with an attention to pixel-perfect details.
- Your problem-solving acumen in visual design is top-tier, skilfully refining UI/UX elements to enhance both user engagement and visual harmony.
- Comprehension of fundamental game design principles, encompassing mechanics, player behaviour, and the design of gaming and loyalty/reward elements is a bonus.
- Familiarity with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in G&L game design.
- Experience with managing and prioritising multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.
- Experience in collaborating with stakeholders, including team-leads, developers, product and marketing teams.
- You’re a pragmatic visionary, balancing the pursuit of excellence with practical solutions. You know when to focus on quick wins and MVPs, and when to go all in for a polished result.
