Job Opening: Talent Operations Specialist
Location: Vancouver, Canada
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Be the initial point of contact to team and discipline leads when a new role is approved and opened.
- Assist teams in with creating job requisitions and modifying job descriptions against an approved workforce plan and communicate those changes to the Talent Associate aligned to the role.
- Be a subject matter expert on Talent Acquisition processes and systems and work closely with cross functional teams to enable hiring.
- Pull and distribute recruiting metrics for internal organizational stakeholders (i.e., HR, TA, Executive, Hiring Managers, etc.).
- Assist with vendor partnerships to create and manage resource strategies, execute project plans and obtain data to support recruitment activities.
- Support system and process optimization sessions with vendors, like LinkedIn and Greenhouse.
- Partner with the HR team to design comprehensive reporting and metrics that provide timely and valuable information for the team.
- Assist with HR team partnerships on potential updates needed to current reporting as systems/tools are being enhanced and upgraded.
- Attend weekly meetings to provide high touch engagement with hiring managers, workforce planners and the extended TA team.
- Consult and advise teams on job descriptions to ensure inclusive language and compliance.
- Manage and maintain data accuracy between position details and job requisition details.
- Serve as the operations lead by triaging questions and inquiries on the hiring process and the status of workforce plans.
- Be a team champion on facilitation and enhancements to the global processes.
- Partner with team members from around the globe to develop a consistent, global, scalable process.
Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience in a Talent or HR functions, preferably in Operations.
- Experience with an ATS, HRIS, LinkedIn, DocuSign and/or other related Talent/HR tools.
- A demonstrable understanding of recruiting operating procedures, practices, and guidelines.
- The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results against clearly defined deadlines, sometimes in tight timeframes.
- An ability to prioritize, think critically and work with people at all levels within the organization.
- Created processes and systems that empower teams and have turned a no into a yes using data to influence.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with an authentic style to provide best-in-class service to our hiring managers and recruiting teams.
- A willingness to roll-up your sleeves, be agile and assist other team members as necessary to move at the speed of the business.
- Worked independently and are comfortable operating in ambiguity and in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Worked extensively with the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) a great deal.
