Job Opening: Surfacing Artist
Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Surfacing of assets while following the established visual aesthetics.
- Grooming hair/fur systems.
- Produce high-end surfacing properly and on schedule. This includes properly executing changes and notes from the Surfacing Supervisor, Surfacing Lead, and other creative on a project in a timely manner.
- Help meet team targets and quotas.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Film, Art or equivalent professional work experience.
- Link to Demo Reel/Portfolio showcasing 3D surfacing and hair/fur work done in recent years.
- Working knowledge of 3D surfacing in Maya, ZBrush, Mari, Renderman, and Arnold. Experience with other programs is a plus.
- Working knowledge of hair/fur creation and grooming in XGen, Shave and a Haircut, or similar programs
