Job Opening: Animator
Location: Montreal, Canada
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Create gameplay, Ai, and scripted animation that matches the visual style of the game, using both keyframe, and augmented mocap techniques.
- Work closely with programmers and designers to support a multitude of features.
- Collaborate with Senior Animators on complicated sets of animation data to fulfill various gameplay and Ai systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years game experience in animation using Maya or equivalent 3D software.
- Experienced character animator.
- Experience with motion-captured animation data.
- Animation implementation\debugging in Unreal Engine, or equivalent game engine experience.
- Strong communication skills and an open-minded professional attitude.
- Humble, open to coaching, an iterative process, and group critique.
- Self-Motivated towards solving creative problems.
- Able to communicate visually, using quick thumbnail sketches.
- Intermediate level problem solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with peer-level Character Modelers, Engineers, and Game Designers.
