Job Opening: Matte Painter
Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating visually stunning and immersive high-quality digital matte paintings, set extensions, and environments that align with the project’s artistic vision and style
- Producing digital paintings that seamlessly blend with live-action footage or animation to enhance the overall visual storytelling, including designing landscapes, cityscapes, buildings, nature elements, and other background assets as required.
- Can conduct thorough research, and gather reference materials to inform the design and realism of the matte paintings.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must have strong artistic and digital painting skills, with a portfolio showcasing expertise in creating realistic environments and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in using digital painting software, particularly Adobe Photoshop.
- Knowledge of 3D software is a plus (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max) but not mandatory.
- Understanding of cinematography, lighting, and composition to create visually compelling matte paintings.
