Job Opening: Character Modellers
Location: Dublin, Republic of Ireland
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Follow design concepts and briefs to produce high-quality Character Sculpts and Models that meet client and internal quality expectations
- Retopologise Character Models that adhere to the project pipeline and meet animation and rigging requirements
- Work closely with Creative Supervisor(s) to produce Character Blendshape Models as required
- Ensure your assets meet specifications provided by Creative and Technical Supervisor(s)
- Implement creative and technical feedback as required
- Participate in creative and technical reviews as required
- Balance quick turnarounds with achieving a high degree of aesthetic quality
- Communicate production concerns ahead of time with Supervisor(s) and Production Team
- Use Shotgun for production tracking, submitting and publishing
- Adhere to digital file management protocols
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Character Modelling
- Thorough knowledge of Maya
- Strong technical knowledge of topology solutions
- Experience working with Blendshapes
- Knowledge of Zbrush a plus
- Good communication skill and ability to work interactively with production and other departments to solve production challenges
