Job Opening: Character Artist
Location: Metro Manila, Philippines
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Model and texture assets: both high and low poly versions
- Create high quality textures in Substance and Photoshop
- Work within the technical limitations of a variety of game engines
- Match the required art style of a project
- Ability to cooperate with teammates to streamline the art creation process
- When assigned a task, work with your lead to create a plan and schedule
- Communicate your progress of work to your peers, customers, and leads
- Provide self-assessment and create improvement plans for your own performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Preferably with 1-3 years of experience as a Character Artist
- Knowledge of low-poly and high-poly modeling techniques in a 3D package
- Working knowledge in 3D software (Maya, 3DS Max, Zbrush, Photoshop)
- Knowledge of additional software such as Substance Painter / Designer, UE4, is a plus
- Ability to create and texture a 3D model from an image or description
- Highly creative/artistic skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Good English communication skills
- Passion to learn new processes and techniques
- Open to feedback and able to accept criticism
- Team player with excellent interpersonal abilities
- Must be responsible, proactive, accountable, and personable
