Job Opening: Character Artist
Location: Luxembourg, Europe
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for character modeling, texturing, shading and grooming while respecting the constraints of production
- Able to meet deadline requirements in accordance to quality and style expectations
- Ensure assets conform to the defined technical and artistic requirements, closely follow established concept designs
- Work closely with the Character Lead, providing feedback and communicating challenges while collaborating with teams as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous industry experience in at least two animation features
- Portfolio showcasing latest Character work
- Knowledge of character modeling techniques, workflows and processes
- Professional working knowledge of Maya, Zbrush, Yeti, Mari or Substance
- Good knowledge of body dynamics and anatomy
- Be comfortable with the Linux / Unix environment
- ProficientĀ in English and/orĀ French
- Proven resourcefulness, solution-oriented
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Able to manage time effectively
- Knowing an asset manager like Shotgun is a plus
