Job Opening: Character Artist

Location: Luxembourg, Europe

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for character modeling, texturing, shading and grooming while respecting the constraints of production
  • Able to meet deadline requirements in accordance to quality and style expectations
  • Ensure assets conform to the defined technical and artistic requirements, closely follow established concept designs
  • Work closely with the Character Lead, providing feedback and communicating challenges while collaborating with teams as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous industry experience in at least two animation features
  • Portfolio showcasing latest Character work
  • Knowledge of character modeling techniques, workflows and processes
  • Professional working knowledge of Maya, Zbrush, Yeti, Mari or Substance
  • Good knowledge of body dynamics and anatomy
  • Be comfortable with the Linux / Unix environment
  • ProficientĀ in English and/orĀ French
  • Proven resourcefulness, solution-oriented
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Able to manage time effectively
  • Knowing an asset manager like Shotgun is a plus
