Job Opening: CG Supervisor
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality control, ensuring aesthetic consistency and adherence to technical standards across departments.
- Maintain and enforce high-quality standards for all visual elements.
- Must be knowledgeable on all aspects of the workflow/pipeline to be able to support the team and be a point of communication between the technologies and the artists.
- In collaboration with Pipeline/IT is responsible for defining a strong yet flexible show pipeline for 3D disciplines.
- Responsible for show-wide pipeline and workflow, mentoring, documentation, and information dissemination.
- Scope all 3D-related tasks. In collaboration with the VFX Supervisor Production will contribute to the bidding.
- Collaborate efficiently with various personalities and work styles within the team.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure a cohesive and productive working environment.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, mindful of strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Develop training programs to improve the skill sets of the team.
- This position requires you to work on-site.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior role, such as Senior CG Generalist or Senior Lighting Artist role within the visual effects or animation industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software such as Maya and/or Houdini, with a strong understanding of lighting, shading, rendering, and compositing techniques.
- Deep knowledge of CG pipelines, workflows, and methodologies, with the ability to design and implement efficient production processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with artists, producers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot technical issues, resolve conflicts, and drive solutions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including mentoring, coaching, and motivating team members to achieve their full potential.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
