Job Opening: Rotomation Artist
Location: Quebec, Canada
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Animate objects and/or characters to represent what is in the live plates;
- Work closely with your supervisor to provide realistic and logical animation in perspective outlook;
- Complete specific matchmoves and identify additions or changes to our existing tools.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to work with object track in 3Dequalizer;
- Possess a minimum of 6 months of experience in Matchmove in the field of cinema and visual effects;
- Good understanding of 3D perspective and 3D packages;
- Must be able to model and manipulate geometry to reconstruct a scene and facilitate follow-ups; – Possess a good eye for detail and precision and have strong problem-solving skills;
- Good understanding of camera movements and filming techniques;
- General understanding of Linux/Unix-based operating systems;
- Animation knowledge is an asset.
