Job Opening: 2D Background Designer
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- A Background Designer or layout artist illustrates backgrounds and environments in the style of a show, based on locations defined in the storyboards.
- Works as part of the design team on a production.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong composition and design skills
- Strong sense of perspective
- Ability to design different styles of backgrounds. From “Slice of life”/realistic BGs to cartoony/imaginative BGs

- Solid drawing skills – Figure drawing or dynamic character drawings
- Sketches and finished illustrations of backgrounds and environments in a style relevant to 2D animation production
