Job Opening: 3D Generalist

Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of 3D asset creation, optimised for mobile – including modeling, texturing, rigging, and animating – and exporting characters, props, and environments for use in-game
- Create compelling, on-brand 3D character animations in Blender or Maya, optimised for real-time use in game engines like Unity or Unreal
- Work closely with the production team, collaborating with developers to ensure that assets are not only high-quality but also function well in gameplay
- Ensure the work communicates character, gameplay intention, and visual style throughout each stage of development
- Actively participate in creative discussions and team brainstorms, contributing ideas and helping shape the visual storytelling and player experience
- Communicate with the Team Lead to meet milestones and delivery timelines for builds, demos, and releases
- Manage time efficiently to meet asset deadlines, bug fixes, and feedback rounds
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and fun work environment
- Maintain a collaborative, flexible, and positive attitude, adapting to the needs of a dynamic game production environment
- Take on and apply feedback constructively, iterating quickly based on notes from leads or playtesting results
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Blender or Maya, with solid understanding of animation principles, timing, and character acting
- Familiarity with the full 3D game asset pipeline, from initial modelling and rigging to final in-engine animation and testing
- Proven ability to model, rig, texture, and animate assets for real-time use – across characters, props, and environments
- Openness to explore other animation technology and learning game engines like Unity or Unreal (including importing, testing, and iterating assets in-engine)
- Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly
- Excellent time management and self-organisation skills, able to deliver on tight schedules and shifting priorities
- Strong team communication and collaboration skills – a reliable team player
- Experience importing and working with animations inside Unity – e.g., using Animator Controllers, blend trees, or testing in the engine
- Previous experience working on a game project, especially one involving character animation and gameplay interaction
- Familiarity with real-time workflows, optimisation techniques, and how to make assets game-ready
- Comfortable troubleshooting basic Unity scene setup, prefabs, or animation testing
- A love of quirky, stylised, or character-led projects – if you’ve worked on something weird and wonderful, we want to see it.
