Job Opening: Blender Generalist

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures, demonstrations, and workshops on various aspects of 3D animation.
- Teach students fundamental concepts and techniques in 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, and rendering.
- Provide hands-on training and practical assignments to help students apply theoretical knowledge to real-world projects.
- Guide and mentor students in their creative and technical development, offering constructive feedback and support.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, software tools, and techniques in 3D animation, and incorporate them into the curriculum.
- Assess student performance through evaluations, exams, and project reviews, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members and staff to enhance the learning experience and curriculum.
- Assist in organizing workshops, events, and competitions to foster a creative and collaborative learning environment.
- Support students in building their portfolios and preparing for industry-related opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, and rendering using industry-standard software such as Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3ds Max, Blender, and Cinema4D.
- Proficiency in other relevant software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects) and compositing software (e.g., Nuke).
- Solid understanding of the principles of animation, composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver lectures effectively and interact with students.
- Prior teaching or training experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
