Job Opening: Lead Technical Artist

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve technologies and art workflows
- Provide technical oversight, direction, and mentorship of a team of seniors and juniors
- Define team goals, action plans, and schedules for the project
- Maintain and improve technologies and art workflows
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure art requirements and plans are understood
- Work with artists and engineers to pinpoint game performance and memory usage issues
- Diagnose problems related to level creation and propose appropriate solutions
- Identify and develop tools to support artists and engineers
- Optimizing runtime performance without sacrificing artistic integrity
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the gaming industry
- Strong scripting or programming knowledge (C++, C#, Python, etc.)
- Experience shipping titles for consoles
- Outstanding understanding of Unreal Engine or equivalent custom engine
- Expert knowledge in one or more major functional areas of game development, such as lighting, shading, VFX, environments, characters, physically based rendering (PBR), and optimization
- Proven experience with existing game engine workflows and pipelines
- Strong overall knowledge of 3DS Max/Maya or equivalent 3D software
- Great organizational and communication skills (English)
- Superb problem-solving skills, both creative and technical

- Recent experience in console development with at least one shipped title
- Completed evaluations and defined objectives for juniors and seniors
- Coordinated with various stakeholders throughout the game development process
