Job Opening: Senior Back End Developer
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
- Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
- Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent knowledge
- 4+ years of experience using MySQL or MariaDB
- 4+ years of experience using:
- Cloudfront
- S3
- Lambda
- RDS
- DynamoDB
- ElasticCache
- Autoscaling
- 5+ years of Development experience using one or more of the following languages: PHP/Java/Node JS/C #
- 2+ years of experience working in a distributed system environment
- Shipped multiple features and projects in a live ops environment
- A passion for games!
