Location: Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop levels from concept to completion, including creating 2D/3D layouts, detailed documentation, and prototypes with the support of your colleagues;
  • Produce coherent and comprehensive level design documentation to effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams;
  • Actively participate in design discussions and reviews to enhance the overall player experience.
  • Collaborate closely with environment artists to ensure seamless integration of gameplay mechanics and visual aesthetics.
  • Work alongside programmers to transform concepts into functional gameplay.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to all aspects of the game, including mechanics, story, missions, and beyond.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5;
  • Strong understanding of level flow, pacing, and design principles;
  • POIs and Landmark design;
  • Ability to craft engaging and immersive gameplay encounters;
  • Openness to receiving constructive feedback and incorporating it into your work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Capability to follow schedules and meet project milestones effectively;
  • Broad knowledge of and passion for video games, coupled with the ability to critically evaluate user experience.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills;
  • Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pluses:

  • Knowledge of art composition and environmental dressing;
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as 3D Studio Max, Maya, or Blender.
  • Experience in visual storytelling through environmental design;
