Job Opening: Associate Outsource Artist
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Compile, write and/or edit art feedback for external art partners
- Collaborate with the Outsource Manager and artists to prepare art tasks for external teams
- Integration and setup of art assets into the game
- Polish, refine, and create art assets
- Participate in essential production responsibilities including tutorial and training documentation
Qualifications & Skills:
- Portfolio demonstrating an artistic eye and a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrable skills in creating game-ready art, especially using mid-poly workflows
- A solid understanding of PBR texturing pipelines
- Experience creating and managing content for Unreal
- In-depth knowledge of typical 3D content creation software (Maya, Substance Painter, etc) and Perforce
- The ability to self-manage time spent on assigned work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, with knowledge of how to maintain content tree structure during production
- 1+ years of game industry experience
- Experience communicating with external or remote teams
- All of our roles require up to 10% air travel. Examples include Studio/Team Offsites, Team/Studio Events, etc.
Bonuses:

- An understanding of technical aspects of making game art for Unreal.
