Job Opening: Assistant Video Editor
Location: Colombia, Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Editing short-form and long-form direct response video ads for Facebook and other platforms, for Ready Set clients
- Animating simple text and shape assets to complement the edits.
- Work hand to-hand with the Sr Video Editor, receiving feedback, revisions, and approval from them
- Following up editing best practices, naming conventions, and upload and download procedures, so we can all edit each other’s projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent English, both written and spoken. This is a US-based company.
- Extensive experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects (+3 years)
- Accessible, responsive, and diligent – we move fast and reliability is key
- Humble, coachable – takes feedback well. We are always learning from each other
- Self-motivated – a doer. We give everyone at Ready Set a ton of freedom
- Works well remotely – it’s a particular setup with its own pros and cons
- Understand paid social and how it’s different from other media
