Qualifications & Skills:
- Visual effects production experience or facility experience as a pipeline td or production td
- Excellent python knowledge and experience with C++, bash, rez, and linux are a plus.
- Experience developing for application such as Flame, Nuke, Maya, Houdini, or similar
- Experience with production tracking database, ftrack, shotgun or similar
- Working experience with render farm managers, deadline, afanasy or similar
- Familiar with good software development practices, code reviews, testing and version control
- A good understanding of the entire visual effects process
- A general understanding of networking and performance issues that arise with automated tools
- Hardware, software, network configuration and troubleshooting skills
- Strategic technical planning abilities
- Problem solving abilities
- Ability to work with non-technical artists and executive stakeholders
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- The ability to analyze and prioritize production needs and tasks
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask
