Job Opening: Web Developer
Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly websites and web apps across Monsta lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional web interfaces.
- Optimize web performance to ensure fast load times, high availability, and seamless user experiences.
- Integrate APIs and third-party tools for e-commerce, analytics, CRM, and more.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, or user experience bottlenecks.
- Ensure all web products meet accessibility, SEO, and mobile-first standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in front-end and back-end development.
- Support campaign activations and new digital initiatives in collaboration with the Products & Licensing team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or related fields.
- 2–4 years of experience in front-end/back-end or full-stack web development.
- Experience developing e-commerce or brand-based websites is a plus.
- Familiarity with media, animation, or licensing-based product platforms is advantageous.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind).
- Experience with front-end libraries/frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
- Solid back-end knowledge (Node.js, PHP, Python, or similar) and database management (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with CMS (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, or custom-built).
- Familiar with Git version control and deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization, SEO, and accessibility.
- Strong eye for design, layout, and user interface aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, with strong problem-solving skills.
