Job Opening: Animators
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:

- Innovative CG animation that jumps off the screen and inspires our teams and our audiences alike
- A thirst to enhance and explore primary and secondary characters in order to create performances that are unique and individual
- A strong degree of skill in CG animation; traditional animation experience is preferred, although not essential
- Creativity and efficiency in equilibrium! We need top creative work balanced with the needs of production to meet deadlines and technical aspects
- Strong ability to work as a team with directors and supervisors, accepting creative criticism and feedback where needed with the knowledge that the creative process is all about development
- Excellent communication skills with a clear ability to work with production and other departments to problem solve and work to deliver shots – we want team players!
- Proactive in meeting deadlines, quotas and schedules all while maintaining a sense of humour
- Active in dailies and WIP reviews where necessary
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2-3+ years experience as an animator, in TV or Film production
- Proficiency in Maya
- A strong and clear understanding of the principles of animation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, we want to get to know you!
- When animating, exhibiting a good understanding of different character personalities and how they act in their environment
- Eligible to work in B.C.
