Job Opening: Animation Producer
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire animation production process, from pre-production to post-production.
- Collaborate with the director, writers, animators, and other key stakeholders to ensure the creative vision aligns with production goals.
- Develop and maintain production schedules, budgets, and workflows to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Manage and coordinate teams, ensuring efficient communication and workflow between departments, including remote teams.
- Work closely with the company founder to recruit, hire, and oversee contract agreements for essential production staff, cast members, and other relevant positions, ensuring that the team is fully equipped to meet production goals.
- Troubleshoot production challenges and implement solutions to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Track and report production progress, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, animation technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an Animation Producer or in a similar production management role.
- Strong understanding of animation pipelines, workflows, and production processes.
- Experience with 2D vector animation and 3D animation.
- Proficiency in animation software: Adobe Animate or Toon Boom and Blender or Maya.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Experience managing remote teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Animation, Production Management, or a related field is preferred.
