Job Opening: Creative Director
Location: Culver City, CA, USA
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Design and write comprehensive creative briefs that apply the overarching brand strategy, audience insights, campaign objective, and customer journey to a creative approach that’s unique to the particular campaign– providing clear direction, visual inspiration, style guides, and creative big idea thought-starters.
- Present these briefs to leadership and partner teams in order to have alignment before the work begins.
- Have a vast knowledge of creative agencies and engage them with a brief, overseeing and directing tissue sessions, and reworking/guiding creative decks. Present decks to leadership, as well as encouraging direct reports to present.
- Work as a hands-on maker to design and write static comps, motion/AV rough cuts, scripts, as well as direct post-production creative choices of voiceover, music, vfx, animation, and more.
- Work cross-functionally to be aware of shifting design needs/styles in Product UI, Sports, Studios, and Partners in order to constantly innovate and refresh.
- Track the performance of the assets made, along with learnings, and creative best practices for each platform.
- Work hand-in-hand with in-house editors and designers, insisting on the highest standards and consistency across all assets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Keynote.
- Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research, and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions.
- Experience leading the creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery.
- Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies, and freelancers).
- Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives.
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.
