Job Opening: Producer
Location: Montreal, QC, Canada
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Support and organize a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering and operating important elements of the game;
- Act as a project manager for your area of responsibility, using task management software and planning techniques that are a blend of agile development and common game content development methodologies;
- Work in partnership with the production director to implement cross-functional organizational processes and ensure that tools are correctly implemented and kept up to date;
- Participate in review activities with management and core development teams in all areas under your responsibility;
- Create a positive and inclusive environment, in line with the values of the studio and the company 39;organization;
- Collaborate with quality assurance experts to ensure that all issues are known and resolved quickly;
- Work closely in collaboration with legal and financial partners, where applicable, to establish contracts or work orders and submit invoices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience supporting teams and projects in the context of game production and/or operations
- Expert-level knowledge of common project management tools and methodologies (JIRA, agile development, and others)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English; due to the nature of the role which requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada, bilingual – – French and English are required for this position.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in art, design, animation and development
- Experience in project management and with associated tools in a video game context
- Knowledge of the video game industry and interest in gaming
- Experience working with content pipelines including concept, modeling, animation, audio, special effects and external partners
- Experience in improving production and operational processes
