Job Opening: HR Partner
Location: Remote – UK
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries on HR-related matters. Managing the Airship HR inbox.
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance service to employees across various teams as and when needed.
- Track and manage probationary periods, liaise with managers to schedule reviews, and provide support to managers and employees if required.
- Process and document changes such as promotions, transfers, and role adjustments.
- Coordinate exit interviews, oversee the offboarding process, and ensure the return of company property and deactivation of system access.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and data protection regulations.
- Oversee visa and immigration processes for both new hires and current employees.
- Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives.
- Lead internal communication efforts related to HR programs and updates.
- Prepare routine and ad hoc HR reports, such as attrition rates, exit interview feedback, and absence reports.
- Ensure accurate reporting to finance/executive teams regarding employee changes for payroll purposes.
- Address employee queries regarding pay, benefits, and rewards.
- Support the administration of employee benefits, including enrolment, changes, and claims processing.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven success in an HR role, showcasing effective people management skills and a track record of success.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of UK employment laws and regulations, ensuring legal compliance in HR practices.
- Displays excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills, fostering collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in creating and implementing people strategies, reflecting a strategic approach aligned with organizational goals.
- Previous experience in planning and executing HR projects, striving for successful outcomes through effective planning and execution.
- Approaches challenges and conflicts proactively, showcasing a forward-thinking, positive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Expertise in efficiently navigating and resolving workplace conflicts impartially.
- A solutions-based mentality with resilience in the face of challenges.
Desirable:
- Brings valuable experience and insight into the unique dynamics of games studio culture, including an understanding of the neurodiverse employee base and the industry’s constant state of change.
- Experience in the Games Industry or similar environment.
- CIPD Level 5 or higher.
