Job Opening: Pipeline Developer
Location: Burbank, CA, US
Type: Temporary, Fixed Term
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain tools/scripts to be used in various stages of the pipeline.
- Answer and address tickets related to tools, software, and general workflow.
- Work with the rest of the dev team to solve problems and implement solutions.
- Generating, using, and tracking production data in Autodesk ShotGrid (ShotGun)
- Possess exceptional workflow understanding and communication skills to help guide artists through production tasks in workflows of varying complexity.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Extensive understanding of VFX and Postproduction facility workflow
- Extensive understanding of Autodesk Maya and ShotGrid
- Ability to work cooperatively with other developers.
- Mastery of Python is required
- Experience using PySide/PyQt
- Experience using the ShotGrid API
- Ability to develop in, Mel, Maxscript, ExtendScript, Java, and/or C++ is a bonus
