Job Opening: 3D Hard Surface Artist

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the creative team to understand the lore of Infinite Fleet
  • 3D model and texture spaceships for use in-game and marketing
  • Use the latest advanced 3D techniques to make technically efficient game assets
  • Collaborate with the rest of the art team to continually improve production processes
  • Respond to feedback and iterate where necessary in a professional and timely manner
  • Work closely with Director of Art to maintain quality and consistency
  • Perform other related duties in line with assignments

Qualifications & Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience and 1 shipped title in the gaming industry
  • Display advanced knowledge of Blender 2.8 or higher using BoxCutter plugin
  • Display strong polygon modeling and optimization skills
  • Expert in Substance Painter
  • Knowledge of Unity asset workflow
  • Japanese model kit hobbyist
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you are fluent in English and have the ability to explain and deliver accurate information
  • You are a team player with good problem-solving skills. You are meticulous and highly detail-oriented
