Job Opening: Lighting & Compositing Artist
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Type: Fixed Term Contract, Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Supervisors and Production Leads to create a believable world for the story through skilled lighting
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
- Excellent communication skills and be willing to take notes and direction
- Able to meet production deadlines and ensure a high level of quality
- Light and composite shots to a high technical and artistic standard
- Work effectively within a team
- Ensure your shots meet specifications provided by all relevant departments
- Follow concepts, briefs and feedback accurately
- Suggest feedback and technical solutions on the project
Qualifications & Skills:
- Good knowledge of lighting and shading
- Good working knowledge of any node based compositing software
- Knowledge of light and colour composition, 2D layout
- Calm attitude, ability to work well under pressure
- Problem solving skills and a good eye for details
- Scripting in Python or other relevant technical skills are desirable
